Our Schools

Principal's Message

Strathmore Elementary and Middle School are committed to excellence. Our skilled faculty is professionally and personally committed to meeting the learning needs of all students. We expect our students to do their best at all times and to continually strive to reach a higher level of achievement.

We believe that education is a process through which, staff, students, families, and the community work together. United, we will provide students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and experiences they need to contribute to, and participate in our society. Strathmore Elementary School’s mission is to educate all students and make them proficient in all areas. Our primary focus is in Language Arts and Mathematics. Students at Strathmore who require additional academic assistance may participate in the HEART (Homework, Enrichment, Acceleration, Recreation, Teamwork) Program and the Learning Lab. Teachers are also available to tutor students on a one-on-one basis in addition to before/after school intervention. The resource specialist teachers provide additional assistance to students in class or pull out sessions. English Language Learner (ELL) students spend a minimum of 30 minutes each day in an English Language Development (ELD) class.
